КWe have already noted that the Kokshetau mountain range consists of Southern and Northern ridges, which are articulated in the middle part by a characteristic lowered in relief - the Akylbai Asuy pass. The depression is a disorderly pile of boulders up to 5-6 m in diameter - the "stone river". This is an interesting geological and geomorphological phenomenon that requires detailed study. In the parking lot "Rakushechnik", if you climb to the top you will meet a "Stone River" or a "Stone fortress".
Trade caravans crossed this pass only accompanied by Akylbai batyr, otherwise they could get lost or become a victim of road robbers. The Kokshetau, Burabai and Zhekebatyr mountains are clearly visible from the Akylbai asu stop.
BOLEKTAU
The narrow isthmus between the Ainakol and Auliekol lakes is a continuation of the Kokshetau massif. Temirtau rocks rise 175 meters, Bolektau - 146 meters above the level of Lake Auliekol.
At the foot of Bolektau, there is a sanatorium of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Only a small elevation separates from it the sanatorium "Borovoe" for active forms of tuberculosis. From the rocks of Bolektau there is a wonderful view of Lake Auliekol, Kokshe, Lake Ainakol, the village of Borovoe, the resort buildings of Okzhetpes and the forests towards Zhekebatyr.
